Zac is an Accredited Exercise Scientist with a background in powerlifting and specific training.

Zac enjoys helping people achieve their physical goals, whether that be improving sport performance, quality of life or achieving their weight loss targets. It is important to Zac that each client is provided with the knowledge and skills in physical movement and nutrition to ensure they are able to achieve their goals.

What is your training style?

I blend scientific/research with real-world practical application. Meaning taking the best parts of current research and combine it with bodybuilding/sport-specific approaches.

What can we expect in a training session with you?

My sessions are generally weights based. Focusing on the client’s goals while also addressing everyday issues most people will have through poor posture and work ergonomics.

Why are you a personal trainer?

I became a personal trainer/strength & conditioning coach because I wanted to bring about the change I wanted to see in the industry. Over my years of training and playing sports I saw how bad the quality of coaching was and wanted to help bring change to the industry.

What are your hobbies?

I’m not sure if it counts as a hobby necessarily, but I compete in powerlifting. Outside of the gym I love cinema, pop culture and variety of music.

Outside of the gym, where is your happy place?

My happy place would have to just be at home for a relaxing weekend or catching up with friends and family. The place itself doesn’t really matter.

What’s your favourite hype song for life?

My hype song with have to be plain Jane by ASAP Ferg or the enemy by Big L.
